keeping up with what i'm up to, but sporadically and with less grammar than before

15.1.07

15th January 2007

Good party on Saturday night at the sports club; Chris came down in the afternoon and we watched the darts and had a few bevs. Almost fell asleep but then cranked up the music and opened some windows and we were soon on form again. Simon picked us up and drove us to the club. He’d had his assessment for Brighton Uni to do Drumming and got put on the top of the waiting list- so proud of him! I hope he goes there and not to the one in Guildford, just because he should move away from home and have that whole experience. It definitely helped me in the long run.

Anyway, the party was great. I hit the cider about 10.30- and it proved to be my (our) down fall:

Thanks to Chris and Laura for putting on a good night. I could write more about it but it’s best just to remember these things in a haze of alcohol, and anyway- I wouldn’t want to upset anyone.

Sunday was a very melancholy one. I watched the darts final, which was an absolute belter- Wolfie was 6-0 up but Nixon won the next 5 sets to give it a proper exciting finale, but Adams won it in the end.

Also finally sorting out Johnny Arrow and the Cheap Day Returns. Potential set list is as follows:

Melancholy Sunday
Feeling Sore
I Believe In You
Just The Way It Is
You Break My Heart Everyday
I Wouldn’t Move To London For You
Never Felt Like This
Disappointment
Noble
Girl (Beatles cover)
I Expect Too Much
My Last Love Song
Lights Change To Red
One Up On Me

Should be a good un.

Ps. Not to worry Dave!
