keeping up with what i'm up to, but sporadically and with less grammar than before

30th December 2006

Had a busy day today, lots of things to get done- which was quite nice- to have some goals on a Saturday. That doesn't often happen (especially as a Leeds fan). Guffaw. Went to Maplin in the morning to buy some connectors and a flight case for tomorrow night's do, stopped off at McDonald's on the way back for some lunch. I hadn't had a McD's for a good while so I managed to justify having a large quarterpounder meal, just. This was shot to shit when I had fish and chips for tea. I swear one day I will wake up and not be able to see my feet. Anyways, after my illicit meal we had a band meeting/rehearsal at Justin's in Ascot. Was a good practise, and pretty positive. At the end we all had a chat about certain issues that we each had with the band and the way we saw it going in the future. Geoof Justin and I managed to air our views I think, and I feel a lot better for it. I think Andy held some stuff back however, and I now get the impression he feels worse than he did before. I really wish he could open up in front of us all so that we can try and resolve any issues (and he does have issues) that he has, before it all blows out of proportion- again. Went to the Queen's Oak with Justin after the practise (the venue) and tried to get some tickets for Simon and Rach and Bethan and Dave, but they had sold out. Completely their fault for not making a decision about what they wanted to do sooner rather than later, and I'm trying my best to not feel guilty about it, but I struggle.

This will probably be the last post before 2007 (so much to do tomorrow!) but I'm going to try and avoid a big retrospective of the year. Time to look forward and plan for the year ahead- which is going to be interesting.

Happy New Year to you all.
