Got in from another productive day at work yesterday and started boxing up some stuff in the flat. A bit pre-emptive probably, considering I haven’t even put the place on the market yet, but I felt good doing something towards the effort, which has come to a bit of a stop in the last week or so. The problem is that a lot of the administrative stuff has been done, and it’s now all about physical labour and general money spending. After filling three boxes with books, I went to Tesco for what turned out to be a very large, but successful shop. Bought some vitamin-heavy consumables and a bottle of Amaretto to add to my increasingly impressive bar at home.
Looking forward to next weekend; Andy Clarke is coming down from Grimsby for a weekend of Southern entertainment. Friday night he and I are going to sample the delights of Reading, and then head over to Bath on Saturday to meet up with Christopher. Wallet, get ready for another battering.
Up early this morning and made myself a bowl of Ready Brek (yes!) and headed to work with the left over duck from last night’s dinner in a sandwich. Check me out, fully functioning as a grown man (except for the Ready Brek). Blimey.
keeping up with what i'm up to, but sporadically and with less grammar than before
