Well I made it to Bath around 2pm this afternoon after a bastard of a drive though driving rain. At one point I couldn't see the car in front of me and I was slightly worried. Got here in the end though, and had an enjoyable afternoon watching the darts and drinking tea with Chris. It's just gone 7pm and we've just come in from Ha Ha Bar; we had a few Fruilis with Chris's friends Mark and Gabs, who are great company, and now back at the flat having a couple of tins before hitting the town.
Yesterday was a good day, even though I felt terrible and didn't go into work. I had a delicious lie in and then just bummed about my flat until 5ish when a sexy estate agent girl came round and valued my property. I got what I wanted (rent wise- you dirty swines) and then she left and I went out to the New Mill in Eversley for a meal with Mum, Dad, Simon and Rachel to say goodbye to Dad, who is heading back to Kuwait tonight. It was a beautiful meal in a dogger restaurant - one of the best I've been to in a while - and an appropriate end to a period of some good family-ness.
This morning I got up and finished off the mixes to Calibre's demo. I'm not entirely happy with them but I thought it was about time I got them done and they sound passable I think. I'm sure they'll be up on their myspace in a few days - www.myspace.com/calibreband - and you can have a listen.
Right, off to get some more booze down me- the first since New Years Eve would you believe?
keeping up with what i'm up to, but sporadically and with less grammar than before

I keep typing daven as my name. Maybe it should be my new moniker?
Sounds like a dogger weekend. We went to play pool on Friday night then went for Thai. Sat we stayed in, and yesterday bummed around and cleaned the flat from almost top to bottom.
Ideal.
