Went out last night and saw Jubb and the Dirty Sleeves play at the Purple Turtle in Reading. Was good fun- had a bit of a crew up there too- Chris B came over from Bath, my bro came, Laura Macca, Emma Wilson and Kiersty as well. After the gig (storming), we went upstairs and had a few more drinks then the sensible ones (Macca, Emma, Bro, and eventually K) went home and left Jubb, Chris and I to continue the night on. Drank until half two, wandered looking for some dirt. Found it in the way of dirty Zorba’s burgers and got a baxi home to the Towers. Sat and watched babecast for a bit (as you do) then schooled it to bed just before half three. Chris had the sofa and I spooned with Jubb. Lovely. Woke up at 7.45, had a shave, got dressed, peeled Chris off the sofa and drove them both to Wokingham station and I got to work on time. Mental. They’ve gone to Sounds Expo in Earls Court, and I’m sat here drinking the coffee machine dry. Amazing times!
